Prospective Undergraduates
Welcome to the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of St Andrews, and these pages designed for potential undergraduate students. St Andrews is Scotland's first university, set within its beautiful small town on the Fife coast, just north of Edinburgh. Our teaching of physics has been officially graded as "Excellent", and our research groups have an international profile with a "5" rating in the most recent research assessment. Our BSc honours degrees normally 3 or 4 years to complete, and the MPhys and MSci 4 or 5, depending on point of entry.
