MSc - Finance - Tuition Fees and Accommodation
Tuition Fees
Please see the University of St Andrews pages for the definitive statement on tuition fee levels for students studying while St Andrews is the lead University in the collaboration (studying 2012-13, 2014-15). The taught postgraduate tuition fee depends on whether a student is from within Europe or from outside Europe, due to the way in which funding comes to the UK university system. When Heriot-Watt University is the lead site (studying 2013-14, 2015-16), it is their web site that should be consulted.
Financial Support
New January 2013 - up to six students from Scotland and non-UK parts of the European Union will be able to gain support for their tuition fees thanks to new funding from the Scottish Funding Council.
It is likely that at least some students domiciled in Scotland will be able to get tuition fee loan support via the universities from the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS). This financial support will come through an agreement between SAAS and Heriot-Watt University, independent of which University is the lead university for the year of study.
The University of St Andrews offers some scholarships for posgraduate study.
Potential students from Mexico may wish to know that we have agreements with authorities there to provide discounts on tuition fees, 30% with CONACyT and 20% for FUNED and FIDERH, currently for 2012 entry.
