I have been studying Physics at St. Andrews for four years now and have enjoyed almost every minute of it! The courses are rewarding and are taught by friendly and enthusiastic members of staff who are always keen to make academic life here successful. The atmosphere in the School is very friendly and I felt that I fitted in straight away.
As well as studying towards a degree during term time, I have also been involved in the research carried out by groups in the School through summer projects. Such projects are an excellent opportunity to be involved in up-to-the-minute research, and are made available by many of the different research groups in the School.
The social life in St Andrews is very much alive - there's a society for almost every interest, plenty of varied bars, and a good students' union. St Andrews is also a lovely town in a beautiful location, with three beaches all in walking distance from the physics building. Studying at St Andrews is one of the best decisions I've made!"
