I am now in my fourth and final year at St Andrews studying for an MSci
degree in Physics.  I can't believe how time has flown by.  St Andrews is a great place to study; the surroundings are beautiful, the facilities are excellent and the social life is to be recommended.  It is small enough to have a real sense of community but large enough to provide plenty of non-academic opportunities with such attributes as three gorgeous beaches and a high density of pubs!  I have always felt at home here and in the past two years have made many friends from all over the world.

The School of Physics and Astronomy is certainly unique.  It has a wonderful atmosphere and is considered one of the friendliest departments with its common room and cafe where students from all years mix.  The teaching is excellent with much freedom of choices.  The staff make the effort to get to know you personally (this really is a good thing!) and always have their doors open and are willing to help.
