The School's mechanical workshop is well equipped with a range of tools, and is staffed by excellent technicians.  Our picture shows a milling machine being used to fabricate a plate for mounting a new CCD camera to the base of the Gregory Telescope. 

The electronics workshop also provides a service to both research and teaching in the School.  Our pictures show testing of laser safety interlocks, and a PCB fabrication machine, which is linked to a CAD package.
