Solid-state physics
The
well-equipped labs of the condensed matter research team
contain, amonst other items, an image furnace to allow the
preparation of exotic crystal samples, high-field magnets,
ultra-low temperature apparatus, resistivity measurement
kit, and a range of otehr sample preparation and diagnostic
kit. This group also makes major use of large international
facilities.
