University Scholarships

The University runs a number of scholarship schemes, which have had awards of up to £3000 per year.  Some are open to all students, and some are aimed at particular subjects or geographical areas. The latter include the Adam Smith Thomson bursaries for former pupils of Forfar Academy coming to study mathematical or physical sciences at St Andrews, and the Donald Malcolm MacArthur scholarships for students from Lewis and Harris studying in our Faculty of Science. From 2012-entry there will be an expanded sholarship scheme associated with the change in tuition fee status for students in the UK outside Scotland.
