Workshop: Tim Mulgan's "Ethics for a Broken World"

'Ethics for a Broken World' is a new book by Professor T. Mulgan, Professor of Moral Philosophy at St Andrews. It is a radical and highly accessible exploration of the moral philosophy of today's affluent world as seen from the viewpoint of possible near-future people struggling with the practicalities and politics of a world devastated by severe global warming.

Quentin Skinner is Barber Beaumont Professor of the Humanities at Queen Mary, University of London and was previously the Regius Professor of Modern History at the University of Cambridge. He is visiting St Andrews for a series of events including the 2012 Knox Lecture on "The Utilitarian 'discovery' about Liberty: What was it and Who made it?"
