5th Annual Philosophy Study day

Each year, we hold our very successful St Andrews Philosophy Study Day for Students of Higher Philosophy. This is a one-day event held in Spring at the University of St Andrews, attracting 150+ Higher Philosophy students from all over the country to take part in lectures and workshops on topics common to the Higher syllabus, including: Critical Thinking, Epistemology, Moral Theory, Hume, Descartes, Free Will and Existence of God.

Foundations of Logical Consequence - Propositions, Context and Consequence

The workshop will bring together international experts on Propositions, Context and Consequence and related topics. The aim is to investigate new work on propositions and context, with a specific emphasis on their relation to formal logic.

Centre for Ethics, Philosophy and Public Affairs Festival of Philosophy

The Centre for Philosophy and Public Affairs (CEPPA), in association with the University Music Centre, presents a series of philosophical and musical engagements with issues of academic and public interest.
