Welcome and congratulations on choosing to attend the University of St Andrews!  I hope you are looking forward as much to coming to St Andrews, as we are looking forward to meeting you in February!

Orientation for Candlemas Semester Entrant students is to take place on the above dates.  This programme is free of charge and students are not required to make a booking for participation in any of the academic sessions.

A local taxi company, St Andrews Direct, is offering special rates for students that are arriving at Edinburgh Airport on 23rd  January 2013.  You must book in advance to be met by this company and transferred directly to your Halls of Residence for £20 per person, which is a considerable reduction on the standard fare.  Please make your booking in advance by visiting their website, or emailing standrewsdirect@yahoo.com.

The Academic Orientation Programme will begin on Thursday 24th January and formal teaching on Monday 28th January 2013.
