Instrumental Groups
The Music Centre organises a variety of different instrumental groups to provide a wide range of opportunities for enjoying playing with others. All of them welcome players from the local community as well as students and staff of the University. Some, such as the St Andrews Chamber Orchestra, hold auditions at the start of the year; however, most of our groups are open to all without audition.
Members of all groups are required to join the Music Centre. You only need to pay one membership fee regardless of how many groups you join.
There are also many other instrumental groups in St Andrews with which we have strong links.
