Jonathan Kemp BSc PhD LLCM (TD) MIOA

Jonathan is module co-ordinator for PH4036 Physics of Music, MU2004 Electronic Music, MU2002 Scottish Music and the second semester sitting of MU2003 Bagpipes: History, Repertoire and Perfomrmance and is in charge of maintaining the Electronic Music Studio in the Younger Hall. He studied Physics with Music at the University of Edinburgh, completing his PhD there in 2002. A holder of a teacher's diploma in Electric Guitar from the London College of Music, Jonathan plays bass guitar in the rock-ceilidh band Teannaich. He is also an active researcher in the field of Acoustics and details can be viewed in Jonathan Kemp's entry in the University of St Andrews Research Portal.
