Music Summer Schools

The Music Centre offers a range of opportunities for student, amateur and professional musicians to develop skills, learn new repertoire and meet new friends, under the guidance of distinguished tutors.  Recent courses include our very popular Summer Organ School, directed by Tom Wilkinson, String Chamber Music with the Fitzwilliam String Quartet, and Conducting with Sian Edwards.  We hope to extend this range in the near future.

We also hold one-off masterclasses during the academic year, most of which are open to observers.  Recent masterclasses have been given by Brian Bannatyne-Scott (baritone), Richard Michael (keyboard), the Edinburgh Quartet, Alison Mitchell (flute) and Maximiliano Martin (clarinet).
