The Music Centre organises tuition in voice, piano, organ, guitar and all orchestral instruments.  Tuition is available to any member of the Music Centre, not just students.  We offer scholarships to particularly talented students to support the cost of study, and also awards available on the basis of financial need.

The University's Certificates and Diplomas in Jazz have been a hugely popular feature of our provision for many years and in 2009 we launched a third level Graduate Diploma.  Please contact the Open Association if you would like to receive information about these courses.

Undergraduates at the university may take modules in Music as part of their MA degree.  These modules offer the chance to perform, compose and find out more about various styles of music.

We have a lively programme of one-off masterclasses and workshops with distinguished performers and teachers from all over the world.  Please see our events leaflet for details of these.

Music Centre staff also contribute to many of the music-related courses offered by the University's Open Association, to which anyone is welcome.
