Music Technology Studio
The Music Centre has a studio consisting of four Macintosh computers with software and hardware available for the composition and realisation of music.
Sibelius
Sibelius software is available and is optimized for typesetting music for the printed page, auditioning compositions and even exporting to CD.
Cubase
Cubase software is also available and is optimized for combining programmed (MIDI) synthesized or sampled music with audio recording (by microphone or line in) and exporting to CD.
Digital Audio Workstations
- 1 Macintosh G5 running Cubase SE 3 and Sibelius 4 with a M-Audio Firewire Solo soundcard and M-Audio 4x4 USB MIDI Interface
- 2 Macintosh G4 computers running Cubase SE with M-Audio MobilePre USB soundcards and M-Audio 1x1 USB MIDI Interfaces
- 1 Macintosh G3 computer running Cubase Audio v4.1, equipped with a Korg 12/12 soundcard and 4x4 MIDI Interface
