Ensembles for instrumentalists

The Music Centre organises a variety of different instrumental groups to provide a wide range of opportunity for enjoying playing with others.  The following groups are directed by Music Centre associate teachers.

The following groups are independent of the Music Centre but have close links with us:

The University Music Society runs a large Symphony Orchestra, a Wind Band and a Chorus.

The Heisenberg Ensemble is a blend of the best local amateur and professional players. It accompanies concerts given by the St Andrews Chorus, and puts on its own concerts during the year. 

If you can't find the ensemble you want, then you could always get together with some like-minded people and form it!  We are happy to help with the formation of new groups.
