Taught programmes
The School of Modern Languages offers a broad range of taught postgraduate courses leading to two awards. Extending over September to June of the academic year, the Graduate Diploma is awarded after successful completion of an appropriate number of taught courses (120 credits). By contrast, the MLitt extends over a full year and is awarded after successful completion of both the Diploma element and a supervised research dissertation of 15,000 words (60 credits).
