Erasmus Mundus Masters Programme: Crossways in Cultural Narratives

Crossways in Cultural Narratives logoThis EU-approved multidisciplinary, multilingual programme is delivered by a consortium of seven European universities - Bergamo (Italy), Nova Lisboa (Portugal), Poznan (Poland) Perpignan (France), Santiago de Compostela (Spain), St Andrews (Scotland), and Sheffield (England) - and three universities from the Americas, namely Guelph (Canada), Entre Ríos (Argentina), and Iberoamericana (Mexico). The major discipline is Literature (with a comparative approach), but it includes modules in Aesthetics, History of Ideas, Semiotics, Linguistics and Communication. The modules were selected in relation to a common theme: crossways and cultural hybridisation. The programme lasts two years and is is open to both European and non-European students. The St Andrews contribution to this pathbreaking degree focuses on the areas of Cultural identities and Comparative Literature. For more information, please visit the links on the right.
