Erasmus Mundus Masters Programme Crossways in Humanities

Erasmus Mundus logoThis EU-funded multidisciplinary, multilingual programme is delivered by a consortium of seven European universities Bergamo (Italy), Lisbon (Portugal), Perpignan (France), Santiago de Compostela (Spain), St Andrews (Scotland), Sheffield (England) and Tübingen (Germany). The major discipline is Literature (with a comparative approach), but it includes modules in Aesthetics, History of Ideas, Semiotics, Linguistics and Communication. The modules were selected in relation to a common theme: European crossways and cultural hybridisation. The standard programme lasts two years, but if you have completed four years of Higher Education you may be eligible for direct entry into the second year. The programme is open to European students from EU member states, and to 'Third Country' students (from the rest of the world) who may apply for full funding. The St Andrews contribution to this pathbreaking course focuses on 'Cultural identities'.
