Research and Teaching
I focus on teaching Russian to various levels of students ranging from elementary to advanced as well as developing teaching materials for the groups I work with. My main interest is the concept of motivation in foreign language learning and the ways of enhancing it in the classroom through various creative educational tools including communicative games, songs, computer technologies, use of audio-visual materials. I authored 5 articles in leading Russian scientific magazines on the issues of short-term education, Russian language education in the UK, teaching Russian everyday culture and use of educational songs.
