Research and Teaching

I am the current OEAD-Lektorin (Austrian Exchange Service lecturer) at the German department. I teach German language classes from first to fourth year, grammar language surgeries and I offer workshops about various topics (role plays, presentations, conversation classes). Furthermore, I cooperate with the German society and engage in their annual theatre play and other cultural projects.

My research interest lies in the methodology and didactics of foreign language teaching, global and intercultural learning and foreign language teaching policy. My diploma thesis was completed in Vienna under the title "Global and Intercultural Learning (GIL) in the EFL classroom". I am interested in developing teaching material for the various levels of the CEFR and am currently working on a new programme for the conversation classes in fourth year and the language classes in first year (beginner level).
