Italian Second Level Modules
Our second year course brings both fi rst year pathways together, devoting three hours per week to the advanced study of the language and two hours per week to literature. You will read Dante's Inferno, Machiavelli's Il principe, poetry and drama by twentieth century Nobel prizewinners Montale and Pirandello, as well as some twentieth century novels. You may also study some of the literature courses available on the First year post Higher/A-Level programme described above.

IT2001 Second Level Italian
This module will focus on language work, including translation from Italian, and the linguistic and literary study of selected texts.
