PhD Candidate (University of St Andrews) Creativity Management
Provisional Thesis Title: "Challenging Legitimacy in Cultural Fields"
My thesis topic requires me to interrogate the notion of value in a performing arts context in particular, but in a contemporary creative industries context more generally. As such, my current interests focus around understanding the linkages between practice, value and legitimacy; I investigate these linkages largely from an epistemologically informed perspective.
