Biography

MA (first class) Sociology and Philosophy, University of Konstanz, Germany, 1986. MSc 'Management (Industrial Relations)' University of Oxford, 1988. DPhil, University of Oxford, 1991. Research Fellow, London Business School, 1991-92. Lecturer, Aston University Business School, 1992-97. Senior Lecturer then Reader, Royal Holloway University of London, 1997-2000. Professor, University of Leicester, 2000-2004. Joined University of St Andrews in October 2004.
