Bonaparte Collection

Around 71 volumes purchased in 1948, bearing the armorial bookplate of Francis Frederick Fox. Books in various European dialects (chiefly British and Italian, with a few Basque), mainly consisting of translations of portions of the Bible (especially Song of Solomon and St Matthew); printed in London 1857-1863 for Prince Louis-Lucien Bonaparte (1813-1891) in limited editions of 250 copies.
