Over £1,000 raised for RAG Week!

We had a great response to our campaign on Thursday February 17th for RAG Week when Library users were encouraged to donate their fines to the nominated charities. A grand total of £1,013.28 was raised.
Sarah Nelson, RAG Week Officer said:
“The charities campaign and RAG week team were delighted when the University Library agreed to generously donate library fines to the RAG week appeal. We really appreciate all they have done for us in helping to raise money for our six nominated charities. RAG (raising and giving) week, is all about getting as many people as possible involved in raising money for charity and the Library have helped us to achieve this aim.”
We are delighted to have played a small part in supporting this great initiative. Thank you to all of our users who paid up so willingly on Thursday of last week!
