New Director of Library Services

We are delighted to announce that our new University Librarian and Director of Library Services, John MacColl, takes up his post on Monday 7 February. John has held senior posts at Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Abertay university libraries, and has served most recently as European Director of OCLC’s Research Libraries Group. He brings with him extensive experience of Scottish, American and European university libraries, and an impressive vision of what a 21st century research library can be. We are extremely pleased to welcome him to St Andrews, and look forward to working with him as he takes up the challenge of redeveloping our own Library both outside and in!
