Question: Do I need a password to access electronic resources?
In most cases the Library's e-resources can be accessed without a username and password from any computer on the University network, including those in Residences.
However if you are off-campus you will need to use your university user name and password or an ATHENS account to obtain access to e-resources. ATHENS is a national authentication system, which controls access to online databases. You may also need it for local access to a few databases. Instructions on which method of access is required for individual resources is given on SAULCAT.
