Question: How many items can I borrow, and for how long?
Undergraduates can borrow 25 items; postgraduates 40; staff 50; subscription readers 30; admitted readers and students from elsewhere 15. Please note that audiovisual materials can only be borrowed by University of St Andrews' staff and students.
Subject to recall by another reader, undergraduates may borrow normal loan items for 4 weeks, while staff and postgraduates can borrow for a year from the date of issue. If an item is recalled from you, the minimum length of time you will have it for is one week. You will be notified of the recall by e-mail.
