Question: How do I join the Library?
University of St Andrews staff and students are registered automatically. The staff ID or matriculation card also acts as a library borrower card.
University of Dundee/Abertay staff and students can register as borrowers on production of a current staff or matriculation card.
Research postgraduates and staff from other Universities may also register for borrowing privileges with a valid SCONUL Access card obtained from their own University Library.
Non-members of the University are also very welcome to use the Library. No fee is required for consultation, though a membership card must be completed at the Reader Services Desk. Please bring identification which confirms your name and current address. A fee is payable if borrowing privileges are required.
