Who's in the Lean Team
The Lean Team involves potentially... everyone! The aim of Lean is to involve all members of staff across the University in continually improving their own processes.
So far over 200 staff from every School and Unit have been involved directly in at least one Lean project, with many more staff having been consulted in the process of redesign and assising in the implementation of projects coming from Lean.

Prior to Lean he was St Andrews' Information Management Co-ordinator, and held a number of management roles in the New Zealand public sector.
Originally from New Zealand, Mark lives with his wife and two beautiful young daughters in Crail. He's a fan of Single Malt Whisky and Genealogy.

About Lean, Steve comments: 'Making people's working lives better motivates me. We're seeing real transformational change, with staff releasing lots of their time to do more value-adding work, and feeling great about it.'
Before Lean, Steve worked managing a team of Peer Supporters, providing assistance on a wide range of personal difficulties. He also currently works teaching Communication Skills in St Andrews' Medical School.
Living between Dairise and Edinburgh Steve spends his time cooking for friends, picnicking in parks, and volunteering for Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland.
Steve holds an Ma(Hons) and is a Fellow of the RSA.
