Normal Service (£20 - £40)

The PC Clinic offers two levels of normal service, both of which include a variety of standard tasks in addition to resolving the problem reported on a user's computer. The £40 service charge relates to machines that require their operating system to be reloaded. 

What is available to you within the normal service:

  • Complete backup of your hard drive (up to 3 partitions)
  • General troubleshooting and repair
  • Reload of operating system software * (if required and disks available) (£40 service)
  • Installation of site licensed Anti-virus software
  • Variety of physical health checks
  • General Computer Advice

The following resources are made available to allow users to help themselves with a number of software related problems. If you are unfamiliar with any of the procedures described here, particularly the knowledge base items, please seek help first.
