Majordomo

Majordomo is a system for managing e-mail lists.  Any member of the University can apply to have a majordomo list set up for them, provided they are willing to take on the task of managing the list. To apply for a majordomo list contact the IT Service Desk.

Described as "the gory details", this information is useful if you want to know how you can adapt the configuration of your list. Don't worry if you don't understand it all. If you provide the required information to the IT Service Desk when setting up your list, and if you are happy with the standard configuration you will not need to change thing
