Dragon Naturally Speaking:
Dragon NaturallySpeaking has been developed by Nuance to allow the user to talk to their computer and see the words instantly and accurately appear in Microsoft Word and Excel, Corel WordPerfect, and many other Windows-based applications. The user can listen to incoming e-mail and documents read aloud, search the Web by speaking URLs and links, use dictation shortcuts that enable the insertion of blocks of texts or bitmaps-such as their name, title and signature, with a single voice command. The user can dictate directly into a PC or any Nuance-approved handheld digital recorder.
Dragon Dictate:
Dragon Dictate has been developed by Nuance to offer Mac users a more powerful dictation application. In addition to dictation it also lets people perform basic navigation of their Mac and control it with their voice using familiar commands like print, cut, copy and paste. Dictate requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher, and Intel-based Macintosh hardware.
Windows 7 Speech Recognition:
Windows 7 has its own speech recognition software built into the operating system. You can use your voice to control your computer. You can say commands that the computer will respond to, and you can dictate text.
