Printer cartridge re-cycling

IT Services has had a re-cycling programme in place for many years, where you can return used printer cartridges (please address to Caroline Peter, IT Services). Returned printer cartridges are then recycled to benefit the St Andrews Scout Group and CHAS (the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland).

Please return all HP, Epson etc toner cartridges in their original plastic bags – more than one cartridge can be returned in a box. All empty ink cartridges can be returned with or without their original packaging.

There is a special purchase and recycling arrangement for Lexmark toner cartridges, which cost less if we buy the Return Program cartridges. Please do not return these to IT Services, but return them (post-free) to Lexmark, packed and sealed in the original boxes, using the labels supplied for the purpose.
