Research priorities
ITIA seeks to promote research in all aspects of the theology and arts interface, and welcomes applications across the full spectrum of artistic and imaginative interests. Its research students have pursued work in a broad range of topics.
Nevertheless, through developing networks, links with institutions, and through the particular research interests of its staff, it has developed a distinctive profile of concerns for the future.
Our research priorities over the next five years will lie chiefly in the following areas:
- Theology and popular culture
- Theology and the visual arts
- Theology and drama/theatre
- Theology and literature
