Thesis topic
Josie's doctoral research, under the supervision of Gavin Hopps, focuses on the nature of the Christian imagination and the importance of 'a-rational' modalities of faith. The primary question that this project asks is what are the distinctive features of the imagination involved in Christian faith? Central to this, Josie suggests, are three aspects: the paradoxical, the anarchic and the childlike. Josie is currently exploring the nonsensical as a macro descriptor of the Christian imagination.

Other information
Josie enjoys Ballet dancing, playing polo, fencing, Monarchy, and Anarchy.
