Biography

Sung Yong Lee is a research student at the School of International Relations, University of St Andrews. His PhD thesis is on the peace negotiation processes in the post-Cold War period. He holds a BA in Political Science (2004) and MA in International Politics (2006) from Korea University, South Korea.

Before coming to St Andrews, he had engaged with a number of research institutes and NGOs including Korea Democracy Foundation (South Korea), Princeton University (USA), University of Cambodia (Cambodia), and Peace Foundation (South Korea), as a research affiliate or staff. His works were mainly related with conflict resolution, post-conflict recovery, and community development
