Biography
Maaike Warnaar studied Political Science at the University of Amsterdam. She wrote her Masters thesis on the foreign policy dimensions of the humanitarian cooperation after the Bam earthquake (Iran, December 2003). She also completed a minor programme Middle East Studies at McGill University (Montreal, Canada) and a minor programme Development Studies and a propaedeutic year in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam.
