About
Ioannis is a Research Fellow whose work examines the relationship between terrorism and peacebuilding efforts. He is also researching post-liberal peacebuilding frameworks and notions of critical statehood. His PhD thesis examined the Basque conflict and the reasons behind the persistence of nationalist violence. His interests are in Peace and Conflict, Terrorism and Political Violence, Nationalism and Ethnicity, New Social Media and the Internet as tools of Conflict Resolution
