Events at MECACS
In conjunction with the Schools of History, International Relations, Social Anthropology and Film Studies, MECACS hosts a number of events throughout the academic year and is currently involved in a range of initiatives designed to expand our knowledge and understanding of the Middle East, Central Asia and the Caucasus.
MECACS Seminars
The Institute holds a weekly seminar series, sponsored by the Honeyman trust. The talks are held usually on Tuesday evenings at 4:00pm, in Seminar Rm. 4 in the Arts Faculty Building. Upcoming: On Tuesday, May 10 at 4pm in Seminar Room 4, Dr Adham Saouli (University of Edinburgh) will speak on 'Studying Middle East International Relations: Theory and Practice'. Professor Raymond Hinnebusch will chair.

MECACS Informal Conversations (MICs) for Faculty
