Studying at the Centre
Fellowship in Residence
The Centre invites applications from scholars or writers working on Syria
for a fellowship in St. Andrews. Syrian scholars are particularly encouraged
to apply. The purpose of this is to give fellows a congenial environment
to research, think and write on a project about reform and security in
contemporary Syria. Fellows normally would be in residence for two-three
months and office facilities, travel and accommodation expenses and a
stipend would be provided.
Research Support
Small grants to help support research in Syria are provided by the Centre. Priority is given to Syrian scholars and writers but others will be considered.
