Community in the School
A focus of the School of International Relations is to a nurture sense of intellectual and social community and to provide a forum for extracurricular engagement within the field. The School is determined to make the students feel a part of the School and contribute to the way in which its courses are created and run. The School achieves this through a variety of fora and media:
- Staff-Student Consultative Committee (SSCC)
- Student associations and organisations
- Events and seminars hosted by the within the School
These bodies and organisations host a number of debates, seminars and workshops throughout the academic session and are open to the entire student body and to the public.
In the past, the School has welcomed a number of distinguished individuals to the University - including academics and practitioners of the discipline - to discuss nuances and trends within the international system.
