CASE Studentships
In CASE projects, industry Partners work with ICC academics on research that benefits the partner organisation while providing the basis of PhD research for a student. CASE stands for Collaborative Awards in (Social) Science and Engineering.
- Projects last for 3 years and are jointly designed and supervised by ICC and the Partner organisation
- ESRC pays the student's academic fees, maintenance and a travel grant.
- Partner organisations contribute £4,000/year for 3 years, in return for a dedicated piece of organisation-based research. (VAT, where applicable, is extra.)
- Applications can be made at any time.
