Carshare Scheme
The University participates in an online car share scheme which is run by goCarShare. The scheme can be used by both staff and students and is in keeping with our ‘green’ aspirations whilst also allowing for cost savings. The scheme can be used for regular or 1-off journeys. Cycle to Work Scheme
The University participates in a cycle to work scheme whereby employee can make tax and NI savings on the hire purchase of bicycles and equipment. At the end of this 12 month period, employees can chose whether or not to purchase the bike at a reduced price. Please click here for further details.
Car Parking
The University has a number of staff only car parks and there are regulations governing the use of these. Although there are no exclusive or guaranteed spaces for individuals, you must also have a valid parking permit on display in your vehicle to allow you to park in the University car parks. see, Designated car parking areas (PDF, 103 KB) Please click here for further details.
