Paternity
All employees are entitled to take 2 weeks paternity leave if they are eligible. The University offers an enhanced paternity pay package for those with 26 weeks continuous service or more. Please click here for further details.
Additional paternity leave may also apply provided you meet certain conditions. You can take up to a maximum of 26 weeks additional paternity leave although only 19 of those would be payable at additional statutory paternity pay. Please click here for further details.
Parental
All employees are entitled to take up to 13 weeks unpaid parental leave provided they have the requisite service. Please click here for further details.
Childcare Vouchers
The University participates in a salary sacrifice scheme for childcare vouchers which is run by Computershare. Childcare vouchers are non-taxable and exempt from national insurance contributions so may be a more cost efficient way of paying for childcare. Please click here for further details.
