Disability
A major part of disability compliance is in the area of 'reasonable adjustments'.
What is 'reasonable'?
It is any initiative which helps to alleviate a substantial disadvantage. Questions staff should take into account in determining reasonableness are:
- effectiveness of adjustment is in preventing the disadvantage
- practicality?
- cost?
- potential disruption?
- time and resources required?
