The following degree programmes offer students of Scottish History an opportunity to deepen their understanding of key issues in the field either as an end in itself or as preparation for doctoral research.

Making full use of the wide spectrum of specialist areas covered by members of the St. Andrews Institute of Scottish Historical Research, the programme offers students exciting opportunities both to explore Scotland's long term development over time and to focus on more specific topics of interest under the guidance of renowned experts in the field.
Postgraduate courses are open to students with an undergraduate degree in History or Scottish History or to those who can demonstrate an equivalent level of historical training.
