Tutors have discretion to grant prior permissions for late submission of work ("Extensions") to make fair allowance for adverse circumstances affecting a student's ability to submit the work on time. Normally such permissions will only be granted for circumstances that are both unforeseen and beyond the student's control.
No work will be accepted after the final School deadline.
Extensions for Dissertations or Honours Projects are granted only in extremely special circumstances, and can be authorised only by the Chair of your Degree, or the Director of Teaching.
