School of History Pre-Advising 2012
History Pre-Advising Electronic Form
History Pre-advising will be open between Wednesday 11 April - Friday 20 April 2012 (4.30 pm)
Each April returning students are asked to submit their module choices for next year as part of Pre-Advising. The purpose of this website is to provide students with information about the Honours pre-advising process in the School of History, and up-to-date details of the Honours modules that will be available in 2012-13.
Students in the School of History MUST NOT take part in the University of St Andrews main on-line Pre-Advising process through iSaint. Instead, you will need to fill in the School of History's own electronic Pre-Advising form through Moodle, as described in the relevant page.
Following your pre-advising selection, you will be assigned to modules by the Honours Adviser. Please note that the pre-advising allocation is provisional, and your choices will only be officially approved ("validated") during Advising in September.
Although this site provides some information about programme requirements, it does not replace the University’s Undergraduate Course Catalogue. Students are urged to study carefully the programme in which you are enrolled (or in which you wish to enrol) in the Course Catalogue, according to your entry date to the University. This describes accurately and in detail all the requirements you need to satisfy, in order to achieve the respective Degree.
